My needle came apart.
Again.
This is part of an interchangeable needle set, and I would blame myself if the needle came unscrewed from the cable. If that had happened, I'd say I didn't tighten it properly.
It didn't. The cable popped out of its metal end.
While I was doing a 400 stitch row.
In lace.
I am having a difficult time reminding myself that this is no big deal.
THIS IS A HUGE DEAL!!! My mind is screaming in terror for you!! uhhhhh, yes, we have all learned that it will pass, but... LACE? That's just nasty. So, you must tell the world, or at least me, the product that insulted your intelligence! I had that happen with KA Switch short. AND on the same project I snapped the wooden part from the metal...

ReplyDeleteHi Bonnie! Happy New Year! OMG--I would have thrown myself over a cliff if that happened to me. I just bought my first "set" of interchangeable needles. So far, so good. Fingers crossed.
